Each of the websites listed below would be used in different lessons for my first grade students. The students would work on assignments during class time and use the websites to practice skills, test comprehension and further knowledge on that topic during technology time. Some sites would require students to work in pairs for retelling or stories and discussion purposes.

Several of these websites brought back fond memories of my childhood. I always enjoyed someone reading to me when I was younger. Who does not love Peter Rabbit? I still have that whole collection of books to one day read to my own children. The quizzes available for the different books on bookadventure.com were good reinforcement tools for children. The Internet has certainly opened up a whole new world for students of all ages.
ReplyDeleteWow. All of these sites were really neat. I used the starfall website all the time for my daughter when she was younger. She loved it.
ReplyDeleteI like your websites. I have a daughter curently in kindergarten who will love the starfall.com site. She is really having fun with reading. The graphics are very simple but with my daughter this will help to keep more focus on the reading. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteHey Alexis, I wanted to tell you that my sites are working now. Thanks
